Thank you Ike...

It was so beautiful here today. Hurricane Ike made his way out last night and left pure beauty behind him. It is VERY rare that I say things like this in the land of concrete. Days like today seem few and far between. I made sure to get out and feel the air on my skin by taking the dogs to the park. I decided to go to a park that in a way felt like a get away. As I was walking I actually felt peace in the land of concrete. Peace from nature doesn't come often here b/c well...there isn't much nature to see and experience around here. However, my walk was amazing. I am committed to having a great week this week whatever stands in my way. I hope to enjoy the life and circumstances that I have now being thankful each day b/c I am so blessed!
