A White Duck with an Orange Bill

Have you ever seen a pristine white duck sitting amongst a group of black ducks? It is amazing how beautiful and shiny they look with their bright orange bills and their Clorox white feathers. This was by far one of those bits of nature that I saw on my morning run that made me do a double take. Today was also the day that I showed my blog to friends and family, which is a blessing in itself. It is kinda hard to put yourself out there like that...part of me wonders if people think it's weird, cool, too time consuming...but then...oh well. For me it is a wonderful way for me to step out of my box of life. I tend to be so "safe," if you know what I mean. I don't take many risks in life...I am definitely not a roller coaster kind of girl. I'll be the one holding the purses and drinks that look like cowboy boots at the end. It is exciting for me to do something different than normal, something that is not quite me.

Top 3 awesome things about today. 1.) a great time with God reading Mark chapter 5. 2.) The white duck with the orange bill. 3.) Finally finishing a card project that I have been working on with the help of my great artist husband.
