I have been travelling visiting family for Christmas. It was so great to see my family in Missouri. It is funny how you forget how neat it is to have a family that enjoys getting together. The laughter, the random conversations, the hilarious moments, the tears....I love it. I am so thankful that I have a family that enjoys these things. While at times I question the oddities of my own family I am thankful for the people I have close to me. It is so nice to pick up where we left off.
The time away from work and the chores of life is also quite awesome. It is times like this that I am so thankful for my teaching job. To forget about life for a bit and just enjoy my husband, my dogs, my blessed life, is nothing but great.
