Picking the underwear out of our rears....

Last night we went to a 6 year old girls basketball game. Oh my goodness! If you ever need a chuckle I highly suggest this as an outing. Not only were the girls double dribbling like mad there was more traveling in that game than you could ever believe. Within the first 30 seconds Brice and I realized that these girls were not playing by the actual NBA rules. However, watching them was in a way very refreshing. When did we as adults lose that ability to dance around at random moments in public, jump in the air just to see how high we could go, and pick our underwear out of our rear without any worries at all. It is sad to me that these little girls will in a few years lose that sense of, who really cares what people think of me attitude. In the end the other team won 30-4, but you know what...the girls had no clue who won in the end. They hadn't even looked up at the score board. It wasn't until their parents told them this that they really grasped that they had lost. Such is life...do we really need to look up at that score board? What about just living life like the cheesy self help books say..."dance like no one is watching".
